Happy Birthday to Me

Hello peoples. Yup, for all those that are interested, it is my birthday. I'm happily one full year older than I was the year before that...and still a starving college student to boot. Well, maybe not exactly starving, but close enough.

Monetary problems sort of abound. The problem is that I have no income, and of course that consequently means I feel insecure. After all, I can't stay home and make my dad pay for everything forever...@_@


*sigh* so now I have to work on seeking financial aid, preferably soon. What a pain in the butt^^; And I STILL haven't done the things I need for the art show at AX. I mean, I have the pictures, but I still have to matte them. I don't wanna!^^

I'm so whiny, aren't I? Hehe, you'd figure after getting to my age I'd be less whiny. Then again, some people DO get whinier as time goes on...hmm, food for thought.

UGh! I so want to talk about Kenken (Bishonen #2) and his backstory! But my wrist hurts and there are things I was supposed to be doing besides blogging...-_-; So I'll save that for another day.

Nothing up at all. Dad is home, bro and dad have yet to kill each other, thank goodness. Ff.net is being frustrating as heck, I don't think the upgrade worked, I still get 'Cannot find server' more often than not. Then again, it's free (and you can turn the ads off, albeit only temporarily) so what'd you expect?^_^; Midterm for summer class is coming up, and so is my birthday. Is it too whiny if I complain that I don' t WANT to stop being a teenager? From what i can see being an adult isn't all that much fun...
Laptop is in shop for repairs, so no chats or anything. Not that I have much online time nowadays anyway. Want to draw. Badly. Means both 'really want to draw' and 'knows will draw badly'. Yeah, whatever.^_^ I'm not making much sense today, eh? And no playing with the HTML tags, cuz while I know how to code links by hand now, it's still a PITA, not to mention I don't have any pics to link to. Go figure...@_@>

No new pictures because of new hectic schedule. Dad is coming home 6/21 so have to prepare for that too. Did get inspiration to write some nasty bits of angst for both Inversed AND Project Genesis, and resisted the urge both times. Yes, bad Majo for not writing, but I had a feeling that with the mood I was in last night, nothing I wrote would've been worth reading.
I found Timber. And finally got Squall to meet Rinoa again. I must say that I have very mixed feelings about Rinoa. Usually I despise character bashing and the tendency for fandoms to bash the bright and cheerful female lead...but this time I'm really starting to get annoyed with Rinoa^_^;. I guess I'm just really happy that Shiva comes running (it takes a frighteningly small amount of time for her to show up) when Squall summons her, but Rinoa's junction (Ifrit, that one time I did junction her...) took forever. But Laguna's hilarious and that makes up for Rinoa.^_^
Okay, that's enough for now...Maybe I'll write stuff on Kenken later but now I'm tired. Gotta get up early tomorrow for the Web design class...right now we're just fiddling with some of the simpler HTML tags and I learned that I've blatantly abused and misused some of them in the past, in my ignorance^^; I've stopped doing that now.... I think tomorrow we're doing hyperlinks^_^. Today we did images...

Wow, it's almost been two weeks...

less than 3 weeks till AX, at last count. Still not sure what will be entered in the art show, but oh, well. Still have to matte the pics too^^; Ah, Majo no baka...

Nothing else much that is productive. Finished FFX (but of course, I could always wander back and add more time in...last time I checked I was at about 92 hours) and started FF8. Yes, I like FF games, okay?^^; I am a bit disappointed that Squall isn't blonde though, but his attitude makes up for it. It's just hilarious to see him in conversations with his all purpose "...whatever". I'm stuck though, cuz i can't find this place called 'Timber' where they're supposed to go...and i don't know how to junction GFs effectively^^; Ah, well. whatever works.

My muse came up with the idea for the Random Bishonen project, which has somehow evolved into a large story/world idea for the pic she drew for bish #2...@_@. Of course, poor Bish #1 doesn't have his own world/story yet...poor thing

Random Bish #2 has now been named and gotten his own backstory and most of his world^^; Ugh, the story's too long, maybe I'll explain it later, but most of the credit goes to the insane ppl in chat who came up with some of the most hilarious parts of his background. Poor Kenken^^;

This night and many nights...

In case anyone's wondering about the odd title, it's just something random that floated to the surface of my consciousness at this late (early?) hour. Blame it on watching too much anime and listening to shoujo-ish music for the past few hours.

My wonderful, wonderful friend has procured me 'I My Me Strawberry Eggs' for my viewing pleasure. And what a pleasure it was. *sigh blissfully*. It's now officially my latest obsession (co-obsession. I also got to see Fruits Baskets, albeit not the whole thing.^^;). It's a great, wonderful series...has some odd stuff, but I think it's the most well done short anime I've seen in a long time. I REALLY, REALLY wish there was an OVA or something...a 'what happens after' type thing^^. Because as much as I adore the ending, it really left it hanging...Wahhhhhhh, Hibiki-chaaaaaaaaaan...;_; And because I can't find ANY IMMSE fictions around...I'm also gonna write one (at least one^^;) to contribute to the fandom. Jen-sama even said if I'll provide fic, she'll provide fanart. ^_^. Jen-sama art is a wonderful thing, yes...

Feeling a bit melancholy now, since I'm tired as heck but don't feel like sleeping. I've been feeling emotional all day, for some reason...Probably cuz my mom went back to Taiwan and I haven't been inviting my friends over like I had been doing for the last week. Tried amusing myself with art earlier today...all I got done was...let's see...I got a few pics of this strange OC that my muse threw at me^^. I have no idea who she is or what she does, but i know what she looks like. And i like drawing her. ^_^ Strange, ne? And I did a Zach/Fran pic...yet ANOTHER one, yes...^^; For some reason I really like drawing those two, and i even colored it. It was on bristol board so it didn't bleed and run TOO badly. Then today I doodled something for Irony-san, a fanart of her fancharacter (Lina and Gourry's kid..) I still have to scan it for her, even though IMHO it turned out horrible. I feel bad tho, cuz I promised Irony-san I'd try to romanji-ize some lyrics for her but I haven't finished doing any of it yet^^; Ah, bad Majo...shouldn't make promises you can't keep^^;

All right...gonna sign off now and see if I can find the lyrics to the opening theme of IMMSE...cuz while I know the first 1min and 30 seconds of it, I don't know the rest, and it's a really good song^^
