My markers and I had a chance to bond...

Is it just me, or are my titles getting weirder?

Anyway, images for those who might be mildly interested:

Hmm...my attention has been drawn to the fact that not everyone might understand what I mean when I complain about Angelfire roadblocks...well, anyone who actually clicks on those links and get one of those 'Angelfire images' logo w/o the picture would know, but i haven't been dilligent enough to type up solutions for that, consistantly,anyway. Those who hit the roadblocks (I always do), just copy the link directly and paste them into the address part of your browser window. Then hit 'enter' or refresh, whichever one is closer. Then the pic should load. If it really doesn't work then the links are on my page, the newer ones are all in the updates page.

I've been writing, and realizing that HTMLing by hand is a big pain, but it seems to make the html files a lot smaller. I guess the code generators all have tons of other necessary technobabble in there, that's taking up all the space. Sooner or later I'll have to see about doing that for the fics I have my hands on, cuz I have a need for space. Just thinking about redoing the HTML for Slayers Inversed is giving me a headache though, not to mention I can feel my hand cramping...@_@

What have I been up to? Besides my bonding session with my markers for the past day, I've had a chance to beat FF8 (hence the slew of FF8 pics)...I defeated the final boss in one try! ^___^ But unfortunately, one of the side bosses is giving me a lot of trouble, I still haven't managed to beat Omega Weapon yet...I have no clue if I'll get a chance to, my dad is coming back in about a week and we've got to clean/organize/fix house. The thought is unpleasent. On the other hand, my muse has been writing. Yes...that same FF8 fic that is starting to become a bit longer than I'd envisioned. Darn her and her attempt to always start epics, anyway. It's funny to thwart your own muse though. She keeps insisting on angst so I throw in the most awful comedy I can think of. So the fic is a piece of work, all right. Maybe not good work, per se, but I never claimed to be all that great with words. Sometimes I read it and think that two different people wrote it. *snicker* For now it's fun writing though. I haven't had the inspiration to write ANYTHING for the longest darn time...and this time my bout of inspiration even kicked Yanagi's muse into overdrive. *snicker snicker*. So we are both writing fics and whining at the other to write more. Oi, vey...-_-;

Hmm, I'm not online while I'm typing this (I am still home with the one phone line and slow modem), so I can write as much as I want^_^. Here's to hoping I won't LOSE any of it once I reconnect and try to upload it.

I think I promised once that I'd put down something about Kenken in here. Hmm...did I? The first pic linked in this entry is of Kenken, though it's a pretty sloppy/messy pic. I just did it to have something to color, anyway. But it's nice to know what color Kenken's eyes are now. My brother actually picked that color, and much to my surprise it looks really fitting...Anyway, Kenken's hiding right now, so the inspiration to write his story is ebbing, thankfully. But I'll be darned if it wasn't the funniest thing in my life for a good while. Ah, sometimes it's good to know crazy people.^_^. Anyway...what was I saying? Oh, right, Kenken.

Lessee...Kenken used to be Random bish #2. For some reason I deemed him a priest-knight (kind of like a paladin) that's cheerful and good-natured, and belongs to a family of mad mathematicians. Kenken is not his real name...his real name is really, really, really long and complicated and funny sounding and hard to pronounce. It's a trait of the family, it seems. Kenken's kind of oblivious and slow on the uptake, but he's a whiz with numbers and great with people. He's got a sword (being a knight and all) but his strength lies with white and defensive magic. Anyway, so he's this knight of this holy order of something or another (I'm really tempted to make it the Holy Order of Something or Another, but that's just...@_@) that worships the god/goddess of all things. He joined the knight/priesthood to get away from his insane family anyway...

Crazy (but nice^^;) people in chat helped with the supporting characters. BJ-san came up with some wacky family members and Hank, Imb-san did Mimi. And so as prescribed in Original Story and Character Creation 101, all hell broke loose. I haven't made Kenken try to save the world yet, but he's got to deal with Hank and Mimi. Hank, for trying to put the moves on Mimi (cuz she's female and breathing *and pretty, that's a plus*) and she's a relative of his (therefore he must defend her honor), and Mimi, for putting the moves on HIM, even though they ARE related...somehow...Mimi might be his half sister, aunt, cousin once, twice, or three times removed, or of no relation whatsoever. THAT is how screwed up that family tree is.^_^;;;; We're pretty sure she's not his mother though. And we can't forget the REST of Kenken's family, who insist that he come back and finish his thesis on this theorem he was working on before they drove him nuts...Just thinking about the discussion Kenken's dad and uncle had on the mathematical modeling of sex makes me crack up.

Yeah, I have a scary brain and imagination. Don't blame me, BJ-san and Imb-san came up with most of it. I just own Kenken, who's hiding.

I think I'll call it a day now, blogger wise. Pretty long rant, if I may say so myself.

ja.
